Opti-Sciences Inc. manufactures and distributes chlorophyll flurometers, chlorophyll content meters, and specialty fluorometers. Many of our products are sold worldwide through a network of international dealers. Opti-Sciences, Inc. is a USA based corporation.

Storage of personal data

  • No personally identifiable information (PII) that we collect is stored on our website, in the cloud, or any other on-line service.
  • Our web hosting service may store certain browsing information.
  • Our customer relationship management, marketing and accounting systems are hosted internally.
  • Our payment processor and bank is based in the USA.
  • We ship our physical products around the world; we therefore may use logistics companies that are based outside the USA and operate in other countries.
  • We operate a data retention policy in respect of all data, whether paper-based or digital and those aspects of it which relate to personal data are contained in the table above.
  • We resell products supplied by organizations outside the USA. This may mean that our resale partner will have access to information about data subjects who purchase their products.

 

Protection of Your Information

  • We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using HTTPS (optisci.com). HTTPS is used for secure (encrypted) communication over a computer network.
  • We use firewalls, anti-virus and malware software to protect against unlawful intrusion.
  • We limit access to your information on a "need to know" basis.
  • We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order.
  • For inquiries from the European Union and the European Economic Area, we require consent before sharing any data with our distributor network.
